What Is CURODONT™?
CURODONT™ is a biomimetic treatment that supports the natural regeneration of enamel in its earliest stages of damage. It is often recommended for patients with early tooth decay or visible white spot lesions.
CURODONT™ uses specially developed peptides that mimic the body’s natural enamel-building process. When applied to the tooth, the solution penetrates the porous enamel surface and forms a scaffold.
Minerals from your saliva, like calcium and phosphate, are drawn into that scaffold, helping rebuild and strengthen enamel from within.
There are two primary applications:
- CURODONT™ Repair: Used in-office to treat early non-cavitated decay and white spot lesions.
- CURODONT™ Protect: A protective option designed to strengthen enamel and reduce acid erosion risk.

What Is PerioProtect®?
PerioProtect® is a non-surgical approach to managing gum disease. It combines professional dental care with custom-made trays that deliver medication directly below the gumline.
After evaluating your gums, we create comfortable, custom-fit Perio Trays®. You will wear them at home for a short period each day, usually about 10 to 15 minutes, with a prescribed antimicrobial gel.
The trays gently push medication deep into periodontal pockets, targeting bacteria where brushing and flossing cannot reach.
How Does PerioProtect® Help with Gum Disease?
Gum disease develops when harmful bacteria accumulate beneath the gumline. PerioProtect® helps reduce the bacterial load, decrease inflammation, and support healthier gum tissue. It is often used alongside scaling and root planning and can be continued at home to maintain progress.

Are CURODONT™ and Perio Protect® Painful?
Both treatments are designed to be gentle and comfortable.
CURODONT™ is completely non-invasive and does not require numbing. Most patients feel little to nothing during application.
PerioProtect® trays are custom-made for comfort. Some patients notice mild sensitivity during the early stages of gum healing, but it typically improves as inflammation decreases.
How Long Do CURODONT™ and PerioProtect® Last?
CURODONT™ supports enamel regeneration over several weeks as minerals naturally integrate into the treated area. Long-term results depend on consistent oral hygiene and regular dental visits.
PerioProtect® can be used short-term to address active gum disease and long-term for maintenance. Our dental team will recommend a schedule based on your specific gum health.
